i don’t have the transcript, but Leslie Stahl just did a piece on whether or not Covid 19 could have leaked from the Wuhan lab.
Previously this had been considered fringe theory. but I did see some coverage of this info from Brett Weinstein by Joe Rogan and later, Bill Maher.
I have heard that Mr. Weinstein is not credible enough in this field to be trusted.
However, later he interviewed Jamie Metzl on the same subject.
He sounded credible to me,so my mouth dropped open when I saw him on tonight’s 60 minutes raising the same questions. And he must be somewhat credible to be allowed on 60 minutes.
I am not a scientist, and would like more input from the audience.
However, when Leslie Stahl questioned one of her guests that support the ‘wet market’ wild animal food borne illness, she asked him,
“How do you know the Chinese government was being truthful about if it could have come from a lab accident?”
He basically answered:
“Because they told me”
Please refute Mr. Metzl (I understand Mr. Weinstein may not be credible) if you have knowledge on this subject.
Here is a small clip of Mr. Metzel

for providing this rebuttal of Metzl in the comments below:
The simplest way to think of Metzl on this is something like this: He arrived at a conclusion, very early on, January 2020 to be precise, by his own admission, that a lab leak from Wuhan was the likeliest source.
He did so, at that early stage, despite having precisely the same level of access to Wuhan province enjoyed by every other US citizen — which is to say, like you and me, he had none.
Married to his theory, he has cultivated his narrative over the months since he first published in April of 2020 at the linked blog. That does make him a good gardener, tending his textual contribution.
It does not make him right. Nor, given his lack of formal scientific training would there be any expectation on my part that his theory of the case has any superior basis to the prevailing zoonotic origin theory. He has a theory, he has collected references that might be seen as supportive of that theory — but he cannot show evidence that supports his theory, because, like everyone else — including many highly trained epidemiologists — seeking to know the true origins of COVID-19, he has not been able to visit the Wuhan region, nor the Wuhan lab at whom he points the finger.
